please help!!
My red tail boa, that is thirteen years old, had a bacterial infection last winter. He was constantely shedding about every week and a half and it was very hard to get him to eat. I took him to a vet and after many injections later, he seemed to come out of it. Now that we are entering another winter, he is beginning to act up again. He will shed about every three weeks and only eat once. Also, he has about seven wierd formations on his scales that have been there since last winter. These things just seem to get larger and our veterinarian told us that they were from his illness. I have considered taking him back to a vet, but after a $2,000 vet bill; I just don't know what is best for him.
Thank You,
melinda
