White Mites???
I was giving the snakes cages a big time cleaning and when I gave Boo (RTB) to my son and I was cleaning his cage, the kid says "Umm Mom, Boo has white bugs moving on him". Now, I've dealt with regular brown/red, regular snake mites but these things were nothing like those kind. These were white, and kinda fluffy looking. They were mostly by his head and I didn't see a whole bunch of them either. Also I didn't see any on the other snakes.
What are these and what do I do about getting rid of them?

These "mites" are WHITE white, a bright white, but in the shape of the picture you posted. They're NOT a see through white, nor a yellow/white, they are kind of fluffy-like and were visible to the naked eye, a tiny bit bigger then the usual brown/red snake mites. And they were crawling between the scales. There were like 4 or 5 of them near his head but not ON his head....
The snake hasn't been soaking like they bother him at all and he's eating like a horse!!
Does this help Tmfleo1?
