I feed my BCI in a clear rubber made tub. Lately she has been striking the sides when I approach to give her the rat. Can this cause injury when she hits her mouth full force on the sides of the tub? She hits it pretty hard. What are your opinions on this situation? I will get a solid colored tub if this willcause injuries.

think you need to figure out first why its striking at everything? yes it can start getting sores or cuts that can lead to mouth rot pretty quickly.How big is the snake how big is the rubbermaid, what temps you got him at, feeding f/t, p/k or live?

Im pretty sure she just gets excited when she knows its feeding time. She has never bitten anyone or even attempted to bite anyone. She just sees movement and strikes.
She is about 3.5 or 4 feet. The rubber tub is 3' x 1.5' approximately. and 6'' high. The temps are fine, 88 hottest area and 75 coolest area during the day. And I always and only will feed F/T.
