Help Help!!!!!!My BP's eyes......
does anyone have any idea why my BP's eyes are like that? his eyes's surface are chappy. does it affect my BP's health? Please reduce my concern plx. Thank You Very Much!!!!

OUCH! Did he/she just shed? They look like retained eye caps, or really bad scratches.

he is like that since his last shed......i dont think they are eye caps. because i have seen eye caps. so i know what they look like. bad scratches, it is possible. but i dont know how he got that. but thank you for your reply though. Any more opinions????

Your snake is dehydrated and has retained eyecaps. Soak him overnight and tomorrow, gently rub a little mineral oil or vegetable oil if you don't have any mineral oil...on his eyes and the eyecaps should slide right off if they didn't slide off in the soak water. Then reevaluate your cage humidity methods.

How are you measuring the humidity level in your cage?
Are you using a humid hide box?

i am using a digital thermometer with hygrometer to measure the humidity & temperature. and no, i am not
using a humid hide box. do i need to do that? i thought BP doesnt need that. doesnt it?

All my snakes have humid hides, except the ones with cypress mulch that stay at higher humidities. I figure it gives them a choice of how humid they want to be, just like we let them choose how warm they want to be.

I use rubbermaid containers with a hole cut in the lid, then fill it halfway with moist coconut bedding (like Bed-a-beast). You could always hide it under some corkbark or something if you wanted it to look nicer.
