Tonight i looked into the tank and saw this large red ball type thing coming out the back of my snake. What could it be and it doesnt seem to be coming completly out so what should i do?

Dosen't look good to me. If its attatched to the body I am thinking its really bad. I am no vet, but the first thing that came to my mind was the animals sexual organ coming out and becoming swollen.
Don't laugh at me for saying that because I have no clue and have no idea what it is. Either way that animal needs a vet visit right away.
Also what are the temps in the cage?

Jonny19771,
Why are you still reading posts? Stop what you doing. Carefully and comfortably secure that in its travel container. GO TO THE VET, NOW!!!!

eep! It looks like a prolapse to me of some sort. (meaning body part hanging outside of the body itself)
There shouldnt be a need to make an appointment, if its an emergency vets should be able to accommodate the visit in his schedule, i would keep plugging away with the vet to take him today. mention the words emergency and body part out of place and that will change their tune.
Did you find any feces in the cage at all? I would seriously call that vet back and tell em, look if you need to see my snake because his condition can seriously kill him.

I am military medic. I AM NOT A VET. However, it looks like something prolapsed. Maybe it is the swollen and infected sexual organ. You are going to have to keep it clean and moist. I don't mean wet but keep it from drying out. I would take it to any vet right now to at least help prevent further damage until your appointment. Good luck. Let us know
