Snakes should never be housed together. In the wild snakes don't co-habitate, with the exception of rattlesnakes. having 2 snakes in one cage is very stressfull to them. Both snakes should be quarrentined for at least 90 days. When 2 snakes are housed together you must seperate for feeding, they will attempt to eat the same prey item a very ugly situation. Plus you have no way of knowing which snake deficates or if one
regurges.
its just an all around bad idea.
Only reason any snakes should be housed together is for breeding, and PLEASE don't be thinking of breeding the burms. The world is already flooded with unwanted burms and retics. Plus no one is going to buy the babies from a private party when they can get them for $20 at a show or from Bob Clarke. You'll end up giving them away, and more than likely to someone else that has no clue what they are getting themselves into. Thus Fueling the herp rescue fire. but I digress.
