tropical frog info req'd

Im at uni about to write a report about creating a large, 'environmentally enriched' exhibit (ideal for a zoo) for dart frogs or poison arrows, however I only have a water dragon at home and therefore have few ideas about the requirements for these amphibians. I understand that humidity, temperature and lighting are all important factors and plants such as bromeliads and orchids are also apparently needed. Pressumably wood, maybe a small waterfall and moss are a good idea too?

Are there species of these frogs that can be kept together without problems arising? I have viewed a few websites and a couple of species-specific books but am still a little in the dark!

If anyone has any suggestions they would be much appreciated.

Thank you to anyone who replies,
Kz

Generally you don't want to keep several species together in order to prevent crossbreeding. Each species comes from a different locale.

As far as care, they like temps to be in the lower/mid 80's. Too hot will bake them. They don't have any special lighting/heating requirements if room temps are 'normal'. The only light we have on the terrarium of our dendrobates tinctorius is a plant light. They require no standing water, just good humidity. Water falls are good for breeding, but unnecessary in general keeping. I would suggest speaking with Sarah and Melissa of Quality Captives for more specific information.
