Well...boa constrictor imperator ovulates about one or two times every 12 months. They do this seasonally, so when I say twice, I mean that each ovary will ovulate once, at seperate times (usually close together).
If you are looking for signs, you may want to look around for pictures. Unfortunatly for you, it is much easier to explain with a picture to show you what I mean when I say a feamle boa blows up like a ballon or she lies with small curves like she is knotted. I've always found that a difficult thing to explain though, and right now...I'm just to tired to type it all out.
