Please help,leopard gecko...
 I rescued my leopard gecko about 4 months ago while I was working in a pet store....this is my first small lizard and it has been doing great,until abuot 7 days ago..now it doesnt want to eat anything. It might be me but it looks like its tail is starting to shrivle,I've been feeding him (?) crickets everyother day,dusted 1x week. I really like the little guy so any help is welcome Thanks.....

what are his cage temps how often are you handling him has he spit up any crickets that you've fed him

Hes in a 10 Gal tank,temps about 75 @ night 85 day, I havent noticed anything coming up,but I havent seen him eat and I count the crickets so I know if he does eat....

I'd take him/her (and a fresh stool sample) to a qualified reptile vet ASAP.
What kind of things do you have in the cage? (ie: sand, newspaper, wood)
And what are you using to read the temp in the cage?

You might consider raising the hot side to 90. If there is something wrong it will raise his immune system

Hes eating again!!!! I raised the temp. on the warm side and figured out that somehow my cat was getting onto the screen top,after I put a stop to that he started eating again and is now nicely shedding,I think it was the stress of the cat that did it,darn cat.....thank you so much for the info,,,I 've been reading that sand is not a good idea for bedding,any ideas of a good substrate?

Ive never kept geckos before, but ive done some reading. I think common ones are repti-bark and moss
