Feeding Trouble
Ok I know you guys can help me with this just like youve done with everything else( which I really appreciate by the way ,
This is my baby Bci's third week of eating with me and i have hit a rut, the first week I fed him a live fuzzy cuz he was being fed live and I wanted him to eat his first week for sure, the second week I gave him a F/T fuzzy and after a while of coaxing I got him to eat it, this week however he decided that he wants nothing to do with the F/T fuzzy I am trying to get him to eat, I have tried twice today and cant get him to even look at it. his temps are good and he seems really active when i got him out, i was going to just skip this feeding and wait for next week, I don't want to go back to live unless I have to to get him to eat, Please help!

if you have a feeding tote, put him in with the rat and just leave him alone for a few hours. Make sure that it is adequetely heated and that he is undisturbed. (put him in the basement or something.) This worked when i fed my baby bci for the first time. If you dont have a feeding tote, use an old ten gallon tank or buy a 6$ 66 quart rubbermaid tub at target or wal-mart.

true, but waiting that long to feed a baby bci is unhealthy. Baby and juvenile snakes need more food than adults, they need fuel to grow just like humans do. (One reason teenagers usually eat a lot more than adults.) The snake will most likely survive without food for this long but it is in the first year that bci's grow the most (3-4 feet)

When you say fuzzy, do you mean rat or mouse fuzzy?
Three weeks is nothing to worry about.... wait until next week and offer again.

fuzzy mouse, and I don't think that leaving him with it would work since last time I had to make it dance to get him to eat it, I think I'll wait for next week, thanks

Give him a little bit of time I would almost bet a $100.00's to a dime he's about to go blue.
