Plants.
Well let me catch everyone up with whats going on. I have two red tail boas, two ball pythons and a burmese python. I converted one of my bathrooms into a cage for them. So they have a really big water bowl (bath tub) and plenty of room. But nothing to climb on, so I want to put some plants/small trees in there to one give them stuff to climb on and also to make the room look better. But I have heard somewhere that some plants will harm or kill snakes. So I was wondering if anyone had any ideas what plants would be safe for them, and also be able to stay alive in the hot room.

Why dont they need to be in the room together? I have done my research of heat and humidity requirments becuase I didnt think they would be compatible. But I was wrong. Keeping the temp at 80 is okay for all of them. They have all been in there for alomst a year and I havnt had a problem yet.

They should NOT be housed together. And they will destroy any live plants you try to put in there.

Why not just get seperate cages for them all? You wont have to worry about getting plants then. An adult burmese python would crush about any plant you could fit into a bathroom.

They shouldn't be in there together because they are from different parts of the world. They carry different bacterias with them. You can put the two ball pythons together, and the 2 boas together if they are both the same type of boa. You will probably need to keep the burmese in the bathroom because of how big they get. But you definately need to house them seperately.

I still don't see why just because of the fact that they have all lived together almost a year and I havnt had any problems. I'm not trying to be stubborn about it it just doesnt make any sense to me. I'm not worried about it though. I am probably going to move so I am going to sale the Burmese and one of the boas. I have a 60 gallon tank Im putting the Balls in and im gonna buy another huge tank for the other boa. Anyone want a burm or a red tail?

They all have different heating and humidity requirements. I would like to see where you read or heard this information. All snakes should be housed seperate unless they are breeding. There's no point in keeping an animal if you can't meet their requirements. Especially if you're keeping a burm. As if there weren't so many throw away burms as it is, you are already trying to give yours away. Sorry for being an A****** but I can't help myself. I have 32 snakes each with it's own home and I have 20 more on the way. I know several people personally who own big snakes and each one of them is housed seperately.

if you do some research you will find that they shouldnt be housed together. its not healthy nor is it safe. if you choose to sell some of your snakes, we do have a classified section

Yeah I admit when I got the Burm I was indeed a dumb@$$. Since I have gotten it I have read and found out alot about them. Most people buy Burms thinking a 20 foot snake would be cool. i was one of those people. Thats why Im trying to sell it now before it gets that freakin big. I went to a pet store by my house today and they are going to buy him from me. Im also going to sell one of my red tails. Then I'll just have the two balls and one red tail. Going to put the two balls in a 60 gallon tank I have and with the money I get from the snakes Im selling im going to either buy or make a big tank for the other red tail. With them all being in smaller cages and not a big room I can get the plastic vines and all that good stuff. Oh and to the personw ho said they would like to see where I read the info on their humidity and heat requirements. I read it all over. Everything I found said that balls lowest temp was like 75 and highest was 80 something...the burms and the red tails were the same at 80-85 day and 78-80 at night...so i just keep the temp in the room at 80...but like I said. I AM switching them to their own cages because everyone here has suggested it. I do know how to listen.

If you haven't already sold the Burm already make sure the pet store is clean and will house him correctly. If possible sale him to someone that you know will take care of it.
