need your opinion

Hey there. i just recently purchased 6 ball pythons and one of the oldest females i got has a pink/peach solid colored belly. Ive only had these snakes for a couple of days. She shows no sign of irration and doesnt show that it bothers her if you rub her belly. I know they say if it is pink it could be a sign that she is about to shed but she shows no sign of that nor does she mind bein handled. If anybody cud help me i would greatly app. it.If you need a pic i can post it

Hi! We will need a lot more information like the snakes' ages, where do you have them housed (are they all in one enclosure together???) some pictures would be great, and your temps and humidity etc.

Did you ask the source of the snakes if that snake has always been that color on the underside? I think it could be a sign of infection, but also could just be an aberrant coloration? A pic sure would help! It could also be from something she layed upon (like colored sand????)

This snake is about 3 and half years old. i keep her just alone in a 55 gallon tank and have the temp stable at 85.

I know my BPs belly stays pink for about a week after he finishes shedding and a week or so before he starts to shed. Maybe she shed just before you got her or she is getting ready to shed. As the others have said I hope this is all it is.

When you said your temps are a "stable 85" is that ambient? Also what is the humidity, hot spot, and what are you using for heat?

at the moment im not sure what the exact humidity is. but for heating source i have a black heating light and heat tape on bottom of cage. and thanks to all for yalls help.
