Throwing up water? drooling??? Help!!!
Hey guys. Ok, so I was cleaning out Spices cage. He has a tendancy to poop in his water so I had taken it out for a couple days. After cleaning I Gave him fresh water and put him back in.
Checked on him an hour later and I noticed what looked like Drool.... coming from his mouth...
I don't know what's wrong.
Took him out of his cage and checked his mouth. It was clear, didn't appear to be any mucus in there. (we had a snake die last year from RI)
But his mouth didn't look like that...
He keeps throwing up this drool.
Could he have drank too much too fast?
Please, any responses and advice will be of great help.
The only vet who treats reptiles near where I live isn't at the office. He'll be back in tomorrow...

Did he go with out freshwater for a while? There is a chance that he was dehydrated and gorged himself with water to over compensate... just monitor him closely w/o handeling and make sure there are no bubles comming out the nose... double check temps and make sure he always has fresh water, and you should be fine if it's not an ri.

Ditto, and dont worry about them pooping in their water bowl as long as you clean it that day. I wish mine would always poo in there its less of a mess to clean. Also i have used two water bowls before. One on the warm side and one on the cool side. Then you can rotate them for cleaning days.

Alright. Thanks guys. =)
He went 2 or 3 days without. So not very long. I rotate on cleaning days and just hadn't put his water bowl back in.
I'll watch him. if it gets worses or continues i'll take him to the vet...
