My Cape York has a 'bubble' in his neck
Once in a while when my Cape York Spotted breathes his neck area inflates and then deflates. It is only occasionally and he seems fine otherwise. I checked his mouth for foam/bubbles/mucus and everything seems fne there as well. I have been trying to track down a vet as I just moved up to BC Canada so am a little unfamiliar with the area as of now and I dont want to just take him somehwere where they really have no idea what they are doing and just want to make some money.
I have only been noticing this happening for about a week. I have raised hi temps up a lil (between 90-95 depending on ambient) have a uth under his hide which has temp inside hide at between 85-90 depending on ambient. He is active and doesnt pull or anythig when the area is touched. I cant get a pic so I made a drawing of what is going on.
The red line shows what it sort of looks like when it inflates. It is not constant and not very frequent, MAYBE notice once aday or few days. He spends most of his time in his hide.

I'm not as experienced as many people on here.. but your drawing reminds me of my Hogg island boa when she inflates her "hiss sack" (thats what i call it lol) it bubbles up like a toad when it makes noise.. then as she hisses.. the air releases.... could this be what your snake is doing???

Something tells me you two have completely different issues with your snakes.

Re: My Cape York has a 'bubble' in his neck
Where in BC are you? I can recommend a very good herp vet in the Vancouver-area. (I know this may be a little late for the original problem but may be useful in the future)
