Nope none at all...its pretty scabbed..My dad saw him bout a week ago..and tried to catch him for me but couldn't, So i asked to keep and eye out for the little fella and he found him this morning and brought him to me.,

I also did was going to do a treat/release with a texas ratsnake...but i kept him...when i found him he was really skinny...So i didnt want him to get that way again so hes my mean little baby now lol

Good luck with the little guy. If you use Neosporin, make sure it doesn't have any pain reliever in it. Very important. If you can, try to get some silver sulfadiazine from your vet (or any local doctor - I got some from my general practitioner for sunburn). That would be the best thing for him. Keep us posted!

I would suggest that you release the snake. Other than the injury that appears to be healing well on its own, the snake looks healthy. Feeding fish from a store may expose it to pathogens or viruses for which it has no natural defenses.
