I'll be going on vacation for a week in June. I'm concerned about keeping the humidity up while I'm gone. Should I get a fogger or some kind od humidity device. Any ideas?

either that or find someone you trust to come over and spray the cages for you. Everyone should have a "herp buddy" that can watch their animals for them

Even a humidifier on a timer would not hold enough water for a week...
If the natural humidity of the room cannot be maintained then a friend who can be trusted would seem to be the only answer.

I have given this some thought, not that I have a trip planned, but I still dont know what I would do -- I dont have a herp buddy!!!!

Wino,

I stumbled upon that at a time when I was having 3-4 meetings of an hour or more per day. I printed it in large font and posted it on the entrance to my cube so all the managers could see it Feel free to use and enjoy

I would also worry more about fresh water, snakes need fresh water all the time. humidity can be low for week, with probly no ill effects. when you get home just soak the snake to make sure it did not get dihiderated. however soaking will not make up for lack of water for the week.

where did you get your snake form.
The chicago retile house is where i purcahsed my snakes form, and they will baby sit your snakes if yout need them to for a small fee of course. maybe the place where you bought your snake does the same. Also remember you have to be able to trust the pet store in which you are giving your childern to.

However if possible i would break out my phone book and try everyone i knew to take care of them, your friends are must likely more trust worthy and the pet store.
