Unhappy Tegu - Eye Sore

Hey everyone,

So earlier this week (monday) I noticed bones, my yearling tegu had a small scab under his eye, it was a small chunk of dried skin kinda. Today his face is shedding and I pulled the peice of skin that was comming off over the sore in hopes it was dry chunk would come off with the old shed but it didn't. It's dry, and seems a bit bigger then on monday. I'm very worried I can't stop worrying about it and looking at him It remindes me of a wart

Here's some pics from this morning, and after I peeled off some of the dry shed that was over it.

If it's not gone by mid next week I have a vet appointment for friday and if it gets worse in the next couple days then I will be going in earlier. If this looks familiar to anyone please let me know, or if theres anything I can do now for him. I'm hoping it was just a scratch from something and is just a scab.
