Hello there, I am writing on behalf of a friend.
Tonight her Boa died, it had eaten a rat and regurgetated it half digested. There are no signs of
mites or parasites and the temps and humidity are fine.
My friend is concerned as it showed the symptoms of
IBD or menengitis but it was approx 3 years old and hasnt been anywhere near another snake.
Please could anyone suggest what it may have been please?
She also keeps a Rankins Dragon which she is getting checked out at the vets just to be on the safe side but my friend is very upset and would really like to know if anyone could suggest what could have harmed the snake. Could it of been the rat?
Please help, any help here is very much appreciated.
