I bought a bag of forrest bedding from Super Pet and I'de like to know if you can get any sort of mites from it. Also does anyone know how mites look like when they are young and as an adult.

Any replies would be appreciated.

Thanks. Paolo

not likely but not impossible...anything from a petstore can have mites in or on the packaging...you can bring them home on your clothing just from walking in there.

anything tiny and moving is likely a mite...they are usually white or red untill they feed and bloat up and turn black...even an adult is roughly the size of a grain of sand though...so look close.
