Her eye was getting cloudy and i thought she was about to shed but then i realized it was only eye and its starting to get puss up, and im starting to worry and looking for some advice of maybe something i should do without taking it to the vet and spending a fortune. Welcome to RTB!

well, Wild caught Eunectes easliy get eye infections.
It normally happens due to the way they are shipped, or housed before they get to you.

If you leave it untreated, it may loose that eye altogether.
While not life threatning, its not a good idea to leave it alone, secondary infections from this are not unheard of.
my advice would be to keep it in a sterile cage, newspaper, and a easy to clean water basin.
keep it nice and warm, upper 80's is good.

you can wait until the snake sheds again, and it may go away.
But if that isnt going to happen soon, you may have no choice but to take it to a vet.

Good luck.

I'm not quite sure why I'm even posting a reply to this because I don't think I can say much that Telefrag hasn't said already, but I'm bored none-the-less and this just ate up a minute or so.

Good luck trying to get it to eat.
I have always had trouble with wc greens.

I have had the best luck using chicks. (before you say anything julius) that is baby chickens.

HAH! It's ok man...we all use em now and then. How is the best way to prekill a chicken? I like to choke mine LOL...

capbruce...what exactly kind of morphs are you breeding? I am unaware of any morph green anacondas other than orange phase which I don't think is really much of a morph.

no i breed boa and ball python morphs , but there is pair of albino greens which ben seigel brought into the country not too long ago which im trying to get my hands on and there is a hypomelanistic and a hypermelanistic floating around as well. I think the two latter are in Europe somewhere, but im trying hard to track them down. The morphs i have are of that balls and boas like i said before, but yes there are some green morphs as well as yellows.
