hey...my rtb escaped 2 days ago and i found her today...i also found that 3 o 4 scales of the left side of the head were pulled off...no skin or muscle tissue were affected, just those scales, i alreday treated the wound but im worried if a scar will be formed later....

It sounds like she got into a fight during her big adventure in the real world. If you keep an antibiotic ointment like neosporin on the wound, it will probably heal up with minimal scaring. Make sure that whatever ointment you get is the kind without pain reliver.
Good Luck!
-Morti.

Peroxide will keep it clean and bacteria free, but an gell ointment like neosporin will also keep the wound soft. That is also important to keep it from scaring. Good Luck!

Treat it like Morti said. As for any long term scars...The deeper the scar.. the more likely that it will remain . From the sounds of it though.. it should clear up with sheds hopefully. Oh and apply the neo like twice per day also.

Well since its just scales and no skin broken, just keep Neo on it for a few days.
Then during the next few sheds you may see some regrowth on the scales.

GREAT! Ya can actually stop the neo once the ":wound" has healed up basically. Usually a few days time for simple ones. Which this seems to be. In the future.. tell her she is not allowed to go and escape... hehe
