How do you cure Mites?
My newest addition, a columbian boa, had mites when I got her. I treated her with Zoo Med Mite Off because the bottle said you can use it on both the snake & the habitat. It seems to have worked and I no longer see mites on her. I heard from other people that it's doesn't work and to do a variety of different things. How do I know if it worked or if the mites just ran & hid under her skin folds?

it works...but its nothing special. They just like to charge 4 times as much and put a homemade label on the front of the can.

right on.
my previous post was just a fyi... (other products are identical but not 'marketed' nor 'advertised' towards reptiles...they focus on a larger market...humans.)

I've heard everything from RID lice treatment, that Repel camping treatment, warm baths, diluted bleach, and some others. The Zoo Med Mite Off won't kill the eggs or the Repel?
