When it has other snakes calling it Professor Crump, crack a lot of Jenny Craig jokes when it's out of the cage, make fake groaning noises when ya put it back in, etc.....
When he acts like it's his season for action and the girl snakes just want to be friends...
He jiggles when he jogs....
On boas, when they lose the squareness to their backs and sometimes get fatty deposits, like around their cloacal openings. Or if it looks fat compared to other healthy snakes of the same species and size.

Post a pic or two of the snakes for us if you can billy. there are a lot of people on here that can tell you pretty quickly that way.
How old are your boas and how long are they? Also what size prey items are you feeding them?

morti's right, post a pic and we can help. I had fat boas once. It happens more in older boas. You know the bigguns....but it can happen in smaller boas if you don't give your boa any exercise and just power feed it. Another sign is the scales will actually look like there protruding outwards. Some say it's just the way they bend for long periods of time, but I looked it up on some college sight and they said it "could be" a sign of obeisity. I'm gonna go with it and say sure, why not? That's when I cut back on food and let my boas hall butt around in the backyard....
