something wrong ??

hi all. Boa Jackson got out of his home and was lost for about a week. i read on here that people had lost their snakes and they always seemed to show up so i just waited. anyhow he showed up laying ontop of the heating vents which had been off for days because it had gotten pretty decent outside. but we had had the ac on for days also. when i found him his skin looked discolored about an inch from his head and then again a couple inches down. it looked to me like he was ready to shed and had scraped his skin on something. that's what it looked like to me. anyhow this was about a week ago. he also felt pretty cool to touch when i found him. so i put him back in his home with his lamp and everything to warm him up. he stayed in his water for a long while and yesterday he shed. nice shed looking pretty and all except for that same place that was discolored before. it is still discolored. i don't know what it could be from. i'm going to get my camera set up and take some pics in a minute but i would like all who have any idea what this could be to please lend your attention.

Pictures would definately help. Off the top of my head he could have gotten into ink or another chemical or got a wound from squeezing in somewhere he was not supposed to.

the discoloration is like a white color. like no pigment type of thing. it looks like a scrape. pictures are coming in a few minutes

They look like abrasions from getting somewhere he was not supposed to. Perhaps crawling under a door or something. Does not look like anything to be concerned about.

can you see somewhat clearly from these pics? if not i will try to take better ones.

that's what i thought but i wanted to make sure because i figured it would come off with his shed. i guess he got scraped pretty deep huh? i think it's from when he was on the heating vents and got scraped on the metal.my first thought when i saw him was that he got burned but then i realized the vents had been off for days.

The locations of the abrasions indicate that it tried to crawl in a tight space. I have seen almost identical wounds on a 3' boa that crawled under a door (it is amazing where they can fit if they want to)

I would still try to get a couple nice clear images of the larger spots just to be certain that it is not a burn from getting behind the fridge or something.
