Need Help ASAP - Boa in BAD shape
I got this boa as a rescue yesterday. Not only does it have mites and an RI, but it has been in this same position ALL DAY LONG. Even when I take the top off, it does not move.
The vet can't see it until Monday afternoon.
A little background on the snake from the person I got it from (along with others in pretty bad shape but not as bad as this one).
The snakes were given to him about 2 months ago by a friend who no longer wanted them. There was a point when he first got them that the snakes were kept at 50 degrees. The warmest any of them have been in the past few months is room temp.
I have the temps up to 95 on half the cage for them now and the humidity is at 60%.
I am really worried this one will not make it until Monday and the staring up makes me wonder just what else it has. ALL of the snakes (the boas and the BP's) I took in were housed together. They are not in contact with my animals but even the fact that I put them in my snake room while I set up QT areas for them makes me worry about my other snakes.
I REALLY need some help with this.

What is temp/humidity in cage now?
Crank the heat to about 88-90 (have a cooler spot of 84-85) and lower humidity completely..
Think this one needs to see Vet asap for Baytril injections though

ALL DAY. It is sitting like that right now as I am typing.
I will drop the humidity.
The vet appointment is Monday at 3:15 but I really don't think he will make it until then with the wheezing, blowing bubbles, and the bloated open mouth, along with the staring up.
I really wish people who neglect snakes would get charged with animal cruelty the same as if they did it to a cat or dog.
This is neglect and abuse IMO.
I only hope I can save this one and the others I took in.

Youd be surprised how long they can live like that..
I got two from an animal park that were kept outside in 20low and 50Hi temps in a rabbit cage with NO heat, NO water, and hadnt been fed in MONTHS!!
One was so skinny you could see her backbone and ribs...skin sagging..
Well they got Baytril for mouthrot,*which I think is probably in yours too* resp infections...diagnosed with severe dehydration, malnourishment, and mites as if the rest wasnt bad enough..
We will get someone to help you as much as we can
