snake prolapse, what can you do for it?
?? the pet store has a baby corn that has prolapse or however you spell it.. and they are offering it to me.. what can be done to save its life? is the only option vet?

I think that is spelled right depending on what type of prolapse it is I would say vet if it is in that bad of condition
|

If it is a prolapsed hemipene then yes. Rectal prolapse can be more difficult.
I say get him and take a picture and post it.
Usually amputation is the route taken. So yea I'd say a vet visit may be in order.

I've heard short soaks in a sugar/water mix has helped reduce swelling in prolapses.
but without knowing what kind of prolapse, its hard to say.
Vet visit is probably the only real way to make sure he'll do okay.

Vet. Only way to go. All other options are pretty much ineffective and useless.
