milk for eyes
i might sound like an amature at this but my red tails eyes went milky white for about four days. when i talked to my friends that had snakes they told me she was getting ready to shed and not worry about. on the fifth day i came home from work and her eyes went back to normal with no signs of shedding. any ideas what this is or was

The snakes eyes go milky then they go clear and 2 or 3 days after they go clear the snake should shed.

Clearly this is your first snake and you did zero research. Hope that works out for you, and for the snake.

Ha ha, that was a little harsh wreckwriter, at least he is here asking questions. Yes your snake should shed in the next couple of days.

Perhaps so but it gets a bit old seeing the same things in an endless loop.

Yes, but such responses will not encourage people to stick around on the site and learn.

Thats why people take it upon themselves to figure this stuff out and end up harming their snakes, they ask and are either ignored or acted rude upon.

raise your snakes humidity during shed time and in a few days he will shed. do not hold him from the time his eyes turn milky until he has shed. it breaks the shed away and they will have a bad shed. also they are blind during this time and there is a good chance he will bite.

I've chatted with several people who feel that they were treated very rudely here, and actually felt like they were talked down too and left for other sites. We have to remember that this site is about helping people learn and by doing so we help them and the animals that they have.

Agreed, but at least some ARE going to other sites. But what about the ones who give up on asking. Thats the problem.
