Help will scales grow back on boa?

My boa lost some scales on him neck about a week ago. I was wondering because someone told me that they would not grow back. But on the other hand my BP who previously feeding on live, got bitten pretty bad and had some scales eaten off by a rat, but after 2 sheds all her scales grew back and now she is perfect again. Is this different with boa's if so any input on the matter would be appreciated.

Depending on the severity of the wound some scars will fade, others will disappear completely. Time will Tell

If its just a few then they will eventually grow back, most scars will heal with time but the really bad ones will always be visable. If you don't mind me asking how did he loose the scale?

Well the thing is he was really sick there for a while and really dehydrated, and his shed was on him for 3 weeks so the vet said to soak him for an hour and gently peel the shed off. So I did and it came off easy it just took those scales with it.
