HAHAHAHA!
You just discovered that you can out drink your snake!

Snakes don't hold liquids too well right after a drink.
I have seen owners freeking out over their snake leaking like this right after a drink and panicing cause they think the snake just got the worst RI instantaneously.

I am going to say that since you saw it drinking and then it hissed and leaked that you startled him and he couldn't hold it down after the expulsion of his air and when his head went down to crawl, gravity took over and the water flowed downhill or out of him.

Nothing to worry about at all unless it becomes a habit or involves food.

hehehe...YUP! I've had one of my male boas 'leak' on me before...I picked him up a little while after he was drinking and the water would drip out of his mouth. It was like he was drooling....LMAO.

I wouldn't worry about it Blisster. Either what Eddie said or maybe the water went down the wrong pipe and that was the snakey equivelant to a cough It happens to me all the time (I have a drinking problem, I guess..LOL)
