It is amazing what you notice when you start looking at labels
all have .5% Permethrin. Take that any way you want
(lets hope these pics work, it is my first time posting from a RTB photo gallery)

Here's another one for ya:

This particular one is Kmart's generic brand, Walmart also has one. The 'name' brand of it is Rid.

NO need for Provent a Mite. Check it out, Sawyer's Tick Spray and Provent a Mite are identical! They basically order from the same company and just re-lable the cans. That Bedding Spray looks interesting to.

The only reason I hesitate to try anything not made for herps is that 99.5% "other" ingredients. How do we know they're not using a propellant or something that's dangerous?

And for a whole lot cheaper too.
Just remember to use it like POM and don't spray directly on the animal.
But anyways, does anyone have a label from Black Knight????
Some of us are curious about its ingredients.

I have never even used Black Knight or know anyone around me that has. Maybe it is a northern or western thing I am curious though.

Bwsmith I recall you saying in chat once that these product carried the same federal patent number. Do you have a pic that shows that? I have questions like reptilemama has about the othe 99.5% of the ingredients If they are the same federal patent number then they HAVE to be the same product. If they dont show a patent number we can never be 100% sure. Granted the cans for POM and Sawyers are identican but there are many can manufacturers. I would hate to try it or a good snake or even a run of the mill snake and have it die because i wanted to save $15.00.

Well, reading the ingredients in the pics, of the Sawyers and the POM, it lists all the smae inactive ingredients in the exact same percentages as the POM.
It would seem that either the patents are one and the same, or Sawyers hasn't been caught for copyright infringment yet.

Well going by the price it would be POM that is buying from Sawyers. Hard to believe POM would shoot themselves in the foot buy selling to Sawyers that will undercut them by 500%

There is the key! POM is approved for MITES, Sawyer is approved for TICKS, the 3rd one is labeled for GENERAL INSECTS, and the one that Ravnos posted is approved for LICE. That is how it goes. Whoever gets it approved for a SPECIFIC USE wins. I we find another use for it, we can do that too
