Hmmm... Not sure although some lizards like iguanas are harmed and killed by the human flu.
Just practice good sanitation protocol when handling and it will lessen the chances, just in case.

I have seen staph as the causitive agent in several different ailments that affect boas. It seems like every time I have my vet send a culture out for anything, it comes back as staph. The good news is, this is very eaisly treatable with sub-dermal claforin injection.

A long time ago, a similar thread was started. The terms for diseases humans pass to animals is Epizoonotic (diseases animals can pass to humans are called Zoonoses). I purchased a $100 book on the health care of captive reptiles, and it has an excellent section on zoonoses, but pretty much nothing on Epizoonotic diseases relating to reptiles.
My search continues...
