15 foot, 100lb burmese python is the largest I've worked with directly. I almost got to help my friend load a 24' retic into his station wagon once, but I had something else I had to do instead.
One place to learn how to work with them would be to contact a snake rescue, I guarantee they get tons of burms in - being the most dumped snake, by far.

My 16-foot 125 pound Burm.
She was an awesome pet for 12 years. She stopped eating and in less than a year went down to 60 pounds so we put her down.
As for handling, during photo shoots with her it took at least four to hold her up and place her. It was very difficult. Not a good pet if you’re alone in caring for it.

11-12 foot (they are so difficult to measure!) male Burm. He's not really that big yet so he's not too difficult to handle, but you have to have somebody with you just in case.

had an 11-12' Yellow Anaconda. she was hit or miss with her temperment, never could totally trust her. Was really fun (NOT) bagging her by myself to ship to her new owner.

I don't recall, but I guess it would be Max...Brett's burm. He was about 12' and roughly 70 lbs. or so at the time. Much to Brett's dismay, Max didn't eat us pygmies (BW and I).
Ed, would that be the yellow anaconda that Sabby set you up with?

Bry, yes it is. KolleenJ has them now. Last I heard they are doing great. She had a little oops though, while getting the males cage set up, she put them both together, and well... the male felt froggy and copulated her. She became gravid, and had 3 good babies. They were just more than I cared to handle.

I did own a female burm that was 14' and about 190 lbs. She was heavy but was not to hard to hold on to as she was very tame. Here is a picture of her. I am 6' 2" tall a 260 lbs in this picture.
I also got to hold Bob Clarks retic named Fluffy she is over 25' long. She is tame but boy was she very strong. When I tried to pull her out of her cage she decided to go back in and I could not stop her. I had to let her go or she would have pulled me in her cage with her. LOL I did get her out a little and was able to get a picture of her with me. Someday I will have some more of these monsters but I am going to wait until my children are older.
