Doea any one believe the story about the 50ft retic?
Im sure som of u hav heard about the 50ft retic supposedly caught in indonesia, weighing almost 1000ponds and measuring 49.8ft.
Im not sure what news u hav in america CNN or somting but over hear i tink i saw it on bbc news and they said this snake had been caught found in an indonesian village.
I saw some pics of it in dis cage with this guy tryin to hold it but it was long and big.
I heard an expert went over and measured it and confirmed the rumours.
So do u believe it or not???
P.S: If any1 has any info or pics on it please send thx.

The huge python story made its rounds here a few months ago. The expert that measured the snake measured it at 15 feet or so. Don't remember the exact measurement but it was far less than 50 feet.

LOL, snakes always get smaller when the tape comes around. He/she measured 21' and like 150 pounds...and 1 of the guys who claimed he was 50 ft said on a serious note "omg i just dont see how he shrunk up when they came"

That snake was not 50 feet, either, LOL But I'd believe the 20ish feet after looking at the pics.

Well I don't care what is written in that article, the aspect ratio suggest around 30 foot at most. I really believe that is being kinda generous. In the picture of it coiled up, if you estimate each side of the coil to be five foot that makes it 20 feet worth of coils. I find it hard to believe that is only half the snake. To me, that snake looks no bigger than fluffy to me.
The vaugue comment about five "pooches" being eaten in a month is no giant feat to gauge either. What kind of "pooches" are you feeding the thing? Five Great Danes? That's impressive. Five poodles...not so much.
