AfRocks are a whole lot of snake. It was much more difficult for us to work with a 14' afrock than an 18' retic. And there were 4 of us.

I have never really been around a very tame rock. Too much snake for me.
I was given one by a friend who was moving and couldnt take it, it was a very fast, very skittish animal (which I guess could of been a result of its owner) but, most other I have seen ended up that way.
Sometimes they start out fairly tame though.
dont know about tiger retics, I have had a normal one, and he was a pretty cool snake, although if your getting a retic (regardless of color/pattern type) please think about it, and make sure you have the resources to manage a snake that WILL get very large.
Most people that get them end up dumping them, or worse once they get to a hard to manage size.
Guess people dont believe they get big, and have to see it for themselves, and finally realize what they will end up taking to care for.

AfRocks are great snakes, but not something for a beginner.
I have been around and kept AfRocks most of my life, and all but 2 were tame animals. Though they do tend to be more flighty than other snakes.
I would wait a bit longer, get some more experience, then buy a Rock.
But if you must have one, buy a young C/B animal to get the best chances of a tame adult.

That was going to be my next question. I am in the market of getting a custom built cage for my burm. Does anyone know where I can get a customer built cage that is realiable and affordable? I may even need two because I am planning for the future of my CRBs
Thanks for the replies.
