Female Purple Albino 'Tic (DUW)
Alright most of you probably don't know but for the past month or so I've been on what seemed to be a never ending quest for the perfect reticulated python. Finally about two weeks ago a guy contacted me and I ended up purchasing one of his 2010 female Purple Albino 'Tics. It seemed like today would NEVER come, but it finally did and she is finally here with me!
She is without a doubt the most beautiful snake I have ever seen, and the most beautiful Purple I have ever seen, maybe I'm biased but so what, she's my baby already.
I'm already absolutely 100% in love with her, and I fear my poor ball python, Zeus, perhaps may become second as favorite to her lol.
She's nice and mellow =) really a great little personality for being shipped across the country, super mellow and chill and very curious. She's currently chilling in her new tank getting some much needed rest =), enough of my babbling, here she is:
Introducing Chaos (at least I think I'm going to stick with that name):
Aaahh of course, the "still in the box" photo, my jaw dropped at this moment
And here she is fresh out of the box
Look I have a giant pet worm
She's very inquisitive, I love it
No editing, them be her real colors
"Are you my new mommy?"
"Wuz up thurr?"
What a cutie
She was so mellow I took her outside for a couple minutes,
She LOVED it
Big ol' worm in my yard
Checking out her new digs
Thirsty after her big adventure
Hey look! I can fit her in one shot for the time being!
Well there she is =) Hope you enjoyed, I know I certainly did haha. And I'd like to give a huge thank you to Rodney Boalich for selling her to me =). I definitely recommend him, he's has beautiful animals at amazing prices.

Haha I hear you! The moment I first saw a Purple I knew that was my dream snake and when I was ready to own a tic that one had to be it, or at least the first.

Re: Female Purple Albino 'Tic (DUW)
Thanks.
No, she's a Puprle, there are three phases of albino with Retics,
Whie, Lavender, and Purple,
She's much too dark to be a lav.

Yeah.. I need a partner-in-crime before I can get a retic though.
They're not really a one person snake...

Wise words indeed
I live with three very strong young men and my friend breeds them and he's always around to help. So I've got myself covered.

Re: Female Purple Albino 'Tic (DUW)
Congratulations that is a very nice looking Purple Phase Albino Retic you have there. I like the orange eyes on yours they look just like my retics eyes. This is my favorite picture of yours retic so far and I am sure we will be seeing more in the future.
Take care
Tom

Re: Female Purple Albino 'Tic (DUW)
Haha yep, she's purple alright. He wasn't kidding when he said he had DARK purples.
Haha oh definitely! I'll be building her a 4 x 2 within the next three months and then her adult cage when she outgrows that, which will be an 8 x 3 cage.

Re: Female Purple Albino 'Tic (DUW)
good stuff and Rodney has some amazing purples for sure! Just handle her lots after she settles in and she'll be your best friend My mainland is just over a year old, over 7ft long and just the biggest baby ever She's gonna be a dream snake as an adult

Re: Female Purple Albino 'Tic (DUW)
He most definitely does, good guy, fantastic animals, and great prices.
Haha yep! I plan on it, she seems like she's going to be a real sweetie, which is great. And I can already see that she's going to be permanently attached to me while she's still small enough to lug around, and even when she's bigger she'll get lots of attention and handling to keep her puppy dog tame.
Thats great! Lets hope little miss Chaos turns out the same way, I'm sure she will with all the proper handling she'll get.
