Re: Check this out!
Once they pip their head through the egg you cut the egg to make sure they don't drown in all the fluids. It just makes sure they can breath. Cutting the egg is not a forced birth at all, it just helps them once they make their move to get out.

Re: Check this out!
its fine, and its a better success hatching rate. the egg sack is usually broke before the egg is cut anyway, by the snake

Re: Check this out!
its a little big of a hole,, if you cut down the sides like that they tend to crawl out before absorbingall the yolk in their sacks.. it usually doesnt cause a problem but can lead to them prematurely exiting the eggs. looks like a super of some kind.

Place nice folks. I am really getting tired of the current trend on this site that if someone doesn't agree with you 100% you jump on them.
Be nice.

Re: Check this out!
lookin again, it actually looks like really clean striped tiger.
could be genetic and could be a fluke.. looks neat though. there are going to be so many variations coming out with everyone breeding different lines and animals together. its gonna be sweet!
post more pics as it comes out or sheds.

Re: Check this out!
Very cool retic!
I also find it funny that people who have probably never bred a snake in their lives are criticizing how somebody cuts their eggs... Lots of internet experts around these days :P
