LOL, . I always place my snake in a pillow case, if they fit, and then an appropiately sized plastic tote whenever I take my snakes anywhere. This includes my 13 foot retic. Works like a charm.

Re: New Burm buuuut possible RI
that's good... She may have had a little irritation when she was transported to your place from wherever she was... I'd still keep her cage a little warmer... Just to make sure

no no the whole reason i got her was because of this breathing thing.. i knew something wasnt right and she needed care.,.. so she was doing this hissing/weezing this since i got her... so i know it didn't happen in transit

sounds like you should be getting a second opinion. If there is any mucous it needs to be examined.

Re: New Burm buuuut possible RI
did they even listen to her lungs when you took her in? if you saw big snot bubbles it should not sound clear when they listen to her breathe and they prob should have given you some baytril or something...

Re: New Burm buuuut possible RI
It is feasible as well that she may have an allergy to something. Believe it or not, snakes get allergies to, hence the boogers. Just think of the boogers as a sign of affection - a special gift from her to you.
