Re: Rock Python Growth+Normal Burm in Shed
They grow so fast it's unbelievable, then again when they have another 15+ feet until adulthood I suppose they grow slowly...

Re: Rock Python Growth+Normal Burm in Shed
man..............I can't believe the rapid growth on both of them, very impressive.
If I may ask, what was your burms feeding schedule during the first year? And I also was curious if you still feed by ratio of snakes body weight to weight of feed item, I remember seeing that in a previous post a while back?
Thanks for the pics, you definately have some beauties there.

The Burm was feed every 7 days (sometimes 10 days). Yes I feed the pythons by ratio. The Burm usually gets around 30% her body weight every week, the Retics and Rock Python get around 35-40% every week.

I always read that Rocks grew slower than Burms and Retics?

lol, you won't be dissapointed! These Rock Pythons can handle huge meals like no other, im talking completely digesting meals half their bodyweight in a little over 2 days.
