New Baby 'Monster!'
So I finally decided that the time was right to get the snake I've always dreamt of, my favorite of all species, the only one I've waited well over 10 years to acquire, until I knew the time was just right, living situation was optimal, and that I had enough practice....
Here are a couple quick shots of him right after I put him into his new home (for now) to chill and quarantine...He seems totally "puppy-dog" docile so far, which is a relief, not the least bit head-shy, he never even gave me the 'S' when opening the container and the few minutes I handled and examined him...Regardless, I'm planning to work with him more aggressively than any other snake I've had, hook training, t-shirt scenting, the works, not to take any chances...More, better pics to come after settle in!
Perfect Normal Male Reticulated Python!

Thanks for looking.

Re: New Baby 'Monster!'
He's still a baby, he's only about 32-34 inches, and slender. It's funny, when he's all curled up tight he could pass for the size of a young ball python (except for the head)...but when he's stretched out, you go "whoa, he is pretty long!"

Very nice Retic! I remember when my Tiger Retics where that small, it's crazy how fast they grow, they where born November 22, 2007 and today they are just under 9 feet.

Wow, that is impressive! I'm looking forward to seeing how this little guy turns out, he comes from unknown lineage, so I am ready for anything...I'm already organizing his cage progression, with him likely moving thru a 6' AP in the near future, and ending up in one of those huge Boamaster enclosures eventually.
