Re: Some good Burm books
max doors are plexi and when he wants out he will slam them and try to shove his head between the plexi and wood and i have never had a problem. i just bought him and chance new cages though (have not got them yet) they are made out of plastic instead of wood. they still have plexi doors though.

Well the sliding doors will be roughly 2.5ft wide x 2ft high. And 10mm thick plexiglass. And they will obviously overlap buy a couple of inches in the middle. What do you guys think? I am 150% sure that the tank will be put together properly, its the glass I'm not confident with. While I'm sure an escaped snake is bad in the US, definitely a lot worse here! I've also got 2 kids that I have to worry about.

Re: Some good Burm books
it schould be fine i dont know how mm convert to inches but sounds thick enough it also helps to have the snake in a excape proor room that way if they get out of the cage they cant get out of the room

all my snakes are in a room alone with a door that closes. makes it much easier of one was to escape.

I don't think its stupid at all
I talk with alot of overseas reptile people, and I had to learn it, and the F to C conversions in order to "fit in"
glad I did.
one day we may all actually use the same thing (GASP)
