Help large snake hides...

What do you use for hides for your larger snakes...???i have a 7-8ft rtb and i cant find nothing for her...any ideas? thanks

They sell large snake hides that are pretty much Rubbermaid bins flipped upside down with an entrance hole cut into it. Do it yourself and save a ton o' money.

AWESOME cage, BRB. What a spoiled snakey...

Another good hide is an old shoebox, or just a box. Even if it's a little snug for your snakey, it will bust the sides open a little. My snakes prefer that over tupperwares.

But if you want a "humid hut", use a tupperware. You can even put some moist moss under it for extra humidity.

1. Cat boxes with holes cut in them are great (I put bricks or cinder blocks on top to weight them down)

2. BRBmomma, that cage is AWESOME....I love that design!

If you need a really big hide, go to Home Depot or Lowe's, in the masonry department and buy a mortar pan. Basically, it's a giant black plastic litter box for about $4. Comes in several sizes too.
