lol, Almost no retics seen in the wild or in captivity has ever achieved that size. I can only think of a small handful of retics that have reached that length, even fewer have reached a weight of 250lb pounds, and finally nearly all retics that I have seen that weighed that much appeared VERY overweight.

Just throwing that out there.

Yes i know but the truth is that The maximum recorded length is of 10 m, [1]somewhat longer than the longest anaconda (Eunectes murinus) reliably recorded. Tales of longer snakes (up to 14 m) have not been confirmed. P. reticulatus can weigh up to 136 kg (300 lbs). It should be noted, however, that it is relatively slender, and therefore not the largest existing snake species: E. murinus can be roughly twice as heavy at the same length.

Yes everyone knows those records. Nere is telling you that those record sized snakes are VERY rare, to the fact that most adult female retics in captivity are usually only 5-6 feet longer than are dwarf.

I just saw one of Bob Clark's "Fluffy" retics on David Letterman that was 26 feet and 305 pounds.

That snake is actually closer to 24 feet, they like to exaggerate. Like I said snakes that size are VERY rare kinda of like a 7'2 foot human. Off the top of my head I can only think of a few retics that are over 22 feet that are living or have died in the last couple years.

Nerd's very large Female Normal
Baldogo's Tiger Female Pansey
Bob Clark's Het Albino Normal
Bob Clark's Fluffy 1 and 2
Frankfurt Zoo's giant Sulawesi
Bali Reptile Park Zoo's Retic named Gina
Wildlife Conservation Park/Bronx Zoo's Samantha
San Antonio Zoo's Marcy
Notah's giant Sulawesi

Their are a handful but I would have to check my records to get all the information. The largest retic I have ever seen in person was a 19+foot female Sulawesi.
