I honstly do not know, we tried to measure him yesterday but he would not stay still. I was able to measure most of his body so I know he is well over 10 feet (some dwarf).

Re: Large Jampea Reticulated Python
Beautiful retic buddy, good to see you back. The nose rub looks all healed up and don't worry about your name I am sure everyone here recognizes your collection .

Re: Large Jampea Reticulated Python
It was no lie when someone said even the dwarfs get big, eh? He's full grown now, right? Figure he probably wouldn't get much bigger than he is now?
Good to hear he's doing well, though.

Re: Large Jampea Reticulated Python
Ok I finally got the name my username fixed . Thanks for the welcome back everyone. I really wanted to just quit the reptile hobby and just focus on my own snakes but having this little retic survive helped renew my love for these awesome animals and sharing and learning knowledge about them.
About the Jampea. This guy was fed 1 large rat every 3 weeks for two years . If he was fed rabbits I would expect him to be more than double his weight right now (he weighs around 45-55 pounds) and at least 4-5 feet longer than he is today. As for the questions about him being full grown my answer is hardly, after clearing up most of his nose rub and nasal issues I began feeding him Guinea Pigs and 2+ pound rats and he almost instantly went into shed . As soon as I can get him on rabbits I am confident he will grow another 3-4 feet or so which would put him real close to 15-16 feet long Boamaster is making him a nice 7*4*2 foot cage that should house him for the rest of his life, the cage should be here by next Wednesday.
