Training my bermese python, please help.
I just got a bermese python and it just a baby still, and right now it is in a tank where my turtle was that i lost (becuz of my friend, not me so dont get angry i am responsible, my friend always used to come in and start grabbing my turtle and have it crawl around while we were watching tv. He is not too bright he tried to make it eat nachos with us but of course it doesnt eat it because they only eat vegetables.
This time I found a dude who sells a python and the guy I bought it from said these snake are really tough and I got it so I can finally teach my friend a LESSON in respect , lol, anyways, he doesnt know yet, and I hope that when he comes in to hang out that he will think its the turtle in the cage and not the snake (because its the same cage, hehe, get it?!) and I want to make sure that the snake bites him when he reaches in because I dont want him to grab it all the time like he did with the turtle, my friend needs to learn some respect, know what Im sayin?
So I wanna train my snake to bite my friends hand if he goes into the tank but not mine, do u guys know how to do it? Someone told me in pm that its impossible but the guy I got the snake from has like snakes all the time and he says they can be taught to be like rottweilers, so if u know how to do it, please help me out.
Thanks! Rock on,

Dude that is the most irresponsible thing I have ever heard. You have no right to have dangerous animals and train them to bite people come on if ya love snakes don't teach your snake to do this. Then again your snake will not learn this.

Re: Training my bermese python, please help.
Woo boy.
Snakes are not dogs. Snakes cannot be trained to do much of anything, let alone attack people. If you want your friend to leave your animals alone then I would suggest telling him to, or not letting him come into your house anymore. Everyone that steps into my house knows to treat my animals with respect or they would be out on their ear. Even if it were possible (and rest assured it isn't) training any animal to attack someone is incredibly irresponsible.
What I am really worried about right now is whether or not you know what you have gotten yourself into. Do you know how big Burmese pythons can get? Do you have him set up correctly? I.e., what are the temps and humidity in the cage, do you have hideboxes in with him, water bowl, substrate, ect. How do you plan on housing him when he gets bigger?
How big is he, btw?

I dont want it to bite me, just annoying people who try to touch it so they leave it alone, I dont want him to annoy my snake like he did with my turtle.

Re: Training my bermese python, please help.
This is obviously a troll post. But just in case it's not, please give the snake to someone who can care for it properly. You are not suited to keep a snake, far less a burmese python (spelled b-u-r-m-e-s-e). Even if you have the means to raise the snake to its full capacity (which is doubtful), your plan will backfire and you are the one who will probably get seriously injured.

I guess I could kick him out but I want him to get a more hands on lesson. Maybe if this really isnt possible and the guy I bought it from lied to me then I should just kick his butt myself LOL but that would be as much fun if you know what I mean.
Yeah I know they get pretty big but im cool with it, I will make the closet into a cage later. Right now it is just a baby, its like, about 30 inches or so, I didnt measure it but thats my estimated guess. I have all the heating stuff in it that I got from the guy I bought it from, so its fine, the only thing I reused is my turtles cage, I just took all of the turtle stuff out and put a water boll in and he really likes it so far, he is in it a lot. For substrate I have aspen shavings, they should work good and yeah yeah, I know I cant feed on them because he will eat it, dont worry.
