what is wrong with this site?
i never got this and still don't. if i write stars as a word why do u get an infraction for it? you just think its a cuse word. it showes no cuse word at all. you just suppose its one by the stars being there. why an infraction. i did nothing wrong. the people controlling this site need help for this stupid stuff. some people on this site need help. just my opinion. any i really dont care what any of you think. its your opinion of what u think of my opinion. noone cares about anyones opinion. i can bet i get an infraction for this or something for bad attitude. well this aint bad attitude im telling the truth. so get over it. know thats bad attitude. ill be waiting for my infractions. so thanks for the whatever u wanna call it.

It's not a question of your opinion versus the opinions of others. It's simply a function of the "Terms of Service" determined by the owner of the site and his management team.
All users of this forum (and others) are the guests of the owner(s). It's not a democracy. You have no "civil rights" on a forum (for censorship is by definition a government act). We are guests. Even we who choose to support the site financially are guests.
The purpose of the policy is to maintain a family friendly environment. No one has to agree with the policy. They just need to abide by it to continue to be a guest of the owner(s) of this forum.
There are other (in my opinion, lesser) forums in which you can show your character or lack thereof, or vocabulary or lack thereof, by using any kind of language you wish. Those are their "terms of service" and that's what it takes to be a guest over there.
Simply choose accordingly.

oh wow. umm.. you seriously need to chill dude. Insulting and threatening members and mods? Not a good idea if you do want to remain a member here.
This is a private-owned website and natas has chosen to set the rules as he did. Every so often, we get in this same argument over and over again because someone doesnt understand why it's such a big deal. Infractions arent meant to tick you off and make you leave the site, they are for LEARNING that certain behavior is not accepted here. If you want to curse and threaten, go to myspace. This is a G-rated, Kid-friendly site so that everyone can come here and have a good time and LEARN. This is a great environment to learn about and talk about reptiles, and that would be comprimised by swearing and other such behavior.
The reason that asterix's and symbols still get an infraction is because we all know what you're trying to say. Masking profanity is just as bad as using it.
Like Kaotik said, you dont have to remain here. I think you should consider staying (and obeying the rules) because you're likely to learn a lot, I know i have.
No one's trying to be rude to you or scare you away from the site. Rules are rules, you can chose to follow them, or you can choose to leave. Simple as that
