just a side note. i didnt post this to say anything bad about burms. i posted it to show what can happen when someone is irresponsible, and ignorant of how to properly house or take care of a snake. in hopes that someone knew to the trade that hasnt seen this article or heard any stories like this may be warned and educated by anothers mistake.

I remember the days when Melissa Kaplan was actually semi-respected in the herp community. Granted that was a long time ago.
