necropsy results
well it didnt take as long as i thought it would. my wife dropped her off at the vet about 45 min ago and i just got the call. he said that when he opened her she had a small tumor/abbcess(sp) on the back of her brain where it met her spinal cord. he said he was 99.9% sure that she didnt have IBD. he said could do labs and stuff, but that he is posotive that is what caused it.

Re: necropsy results
Thanks for the update, that is very good news. That means none of your other snakes are at risk, and there was nothing you could do to prevent or recognize this. Again I am sorry for your loss.

thanks again man. i appreciate it. it does make me feel a little better. i am going to the pet store at lunch to give them the copy of the results they faxed me. they said they would give it to the breeder and see what is what. they said if the breed cooperates i can get another super tiger retic, but if he is a jerk about it they would either refund my money or give me store credit.

Re: necropsy results
Sorry to hear about your loss, I just now read through that thread.. but it's got to be a relief that it wasn't IBD as first suspected.
I hope the breeder cooperates at least, and replaces the snake, not that it helps much.. replacing an animal is usually just as hard as losing one... Good luck, bro.

Re: necropsy results
Cut the breeder some slack it is nothing he could have foreseen, he did not willingly sell a sick reptile. Live animals are hard to warranty, especially morphs.

this is true. i know he didnt sell it knowing it was sick b/c it didnt have the symptoms when i got it, but i just hope he does take care of it. if not i could always just get my money back and then have them order me another one from him.
