What are you feeding him right now? I like how they stay smaller than Burms (girth wise). Also Ive always wanted to know, How do you approach him while he is on the ground like that? Do they ever think you are a predator?

Right now, literally, I just dumped in a 5lb rabbit into his feeding tote. He gets one of those every 2 weeks. He is VERY docile. I just walk up to him, bend down and pick him up or touch him. I haven't seen him being shy about anything. He loves to explore.

Thanks. I don't know how old he is. I know that I have had him for a year and half, my brother in law had him for 6 months before that, and when my brother in law got him he was over 10 feet long; so I would say that he is at least 3 years old, but probably a little older than that. Sorry that is the best guess I could come up with. Now about Victor, my Sav Monitor, I do need to take some pics of him. I think they may have to be pics of him while still in his cage since he moves around way too much to ever get a good pic of him while outside. Thanks though Razeraze for the comments.

Yep, my brother in law named him when he had him a while ago and it just stuck. It is a good name for a Retic.
