Kayuadi Dwarf Reticulated Python

In the new year I am considering getting a Kayuadi Dwarf Reticulated Python, it will be a male. Would an enclosure 6' x 2' x 17" tall be suitable to house it as from looking around they appear to max out around 9'. Although I am not sure if it would need more height for furniture, or would it spend most of the time on the floor.

Cheers
Nick

Sounds like plenty of cage to me if indeed he stays that small. Height for climbing would be nice when he's little but the lower celing is also nice in that it allows for better heating and gradiant without having to call in engineers from NASA or something. In the end, floor space is all that really matters as far as space goes and it's surprising how much climbing a little one can do with a 17 inch celing anyway.

Thanks, as I say at present it is only a consideration I may as of yet change my mind. It all depends on how much space I can actually create as to whether it goes ahead.

Cheers
Nick
