Whats the dilly on food size?
Ok I went to petco to get some more food for my snakes (fuzzies). Well my BP I think could take more cause the fuzzy is like 3/4 of the girth size. Well the person was helping me and I asked what does the next size up look like, so I could compare it. The next size up was the adult mice, and it was way bigger then my snake prolly 1 and 1/2 size bigger then the snake. Is the adult size really the next size up from fuzzies?

Some baby ball pythons can take adult mice for there first meals. Not many but some. I would just say go for it. 1-1.50 times the widest part of the snakes body is ok as long as you don't handle for 24-48 hours and the temps are ok.

No problem man. I wouldn't go to petco for much longer for food. Buying f/t through the internet is much cheaper and more easier. I got 400 weanling mice for $.29 each. I have dealt with 3 different f/t companies and here is what I thought about them
1.) www.bigcheeserodents.com They had great service but a lot of the mice came with belly rot and popped open when I thawed them. I woudn't use again unless I had to
2.) www.bayourodents.com I placed my order through phone and I was a bit worried as the lady answered the phone with a simple 'hello' and there were kids screaming in the back ground. Rodents arrived frozen solid in a nice styro lined box. Great quality and a good price.
3.) www.rodentpro.com I just placed my order so my rodents won't be here for a while. I ordered through the web site and recieved an email instantly saying my order was being processed. I got an email today saying it was clear and a arrival date of the order. They will email me with shipping info when they are shipped out. Great service

Another nice thing about RodentPro is the last order that I just made with them, I started to order with a moneyorder, and I emailed them a few questions and they replied very quickly.
Then when I decided to order with credit card, they saw that I was the same person who was ordering, so they gave me a call and let me know that they recieved my order and payment with the credit card and so they cancelled my order via money order. And then of course I get email notifcations of my order being processed and when it'll be shipped and all that. Great service.

Try feeding rat pinkies or pups. They will be bigger than your mouse fuzzies and smaller than adult mice. Rats are also better for your snake than mice as rats are more nutritious. For my baby boas I never feed them mice I always feed rats from day one. For the first year I feed them once every week then after the first year I feed then once every 2 to 3 weeks. My bigger boas will sometimes get 2 large rats per feeding.
Take care
Tom

Ya, I have heard only good things about them. I went and bought a vacume pack thing so my rodents stay fresh.
